About The Future

Currently, I'm working on drawing all the set designs necessary for the Beta on the 7th. I can't quite get ALL the art assets ready in time, but I would like to give you guys at least some pretty things to look at. On top of that, our great musician Ponyo has been hard at work making sure all the songs work for the characters, and the game. I think he really hit the nail on the head, and when you listen to the soundtrack after the release, you can see how much each character's personal theme oozes with their personality.



In addition to that, I'd like to talk a little bit more about my writing. Dizzy Hearts to me has been more than just a porn game, It's been an entire world. I spoke a year ago about wanting to do more in the future with this world. Dizzy Hearts is just a step in an entire series of stories I want to tell. Some are for more mature audiences, some games are just mature and won't feature adult content at all. Why? This is because, for me sex is cool, but it must fit the story, and it can be a powerful ally to your story, or a powerful enemy. For me I want to just tell fun and interesting stories and it's not a question of "where can I put the sex" but "is sex meaningful to the characters".

Here's a look at what I am going to work on in the future, some might be VNs like Dizzy Hearts, or something else entirely. Most of these stories are not new ones, but ones that I have been writing for the last 8 years now.



Vagabond ~ The Sail in the Desert

In the elvish city of Alabast, the 'Sail in the Desert', a rogue must find a treasure deeply tied to the survival of her people. Vagabond will be set in the same time frame as Dizzy Hearts, and will be much larger and will feature multiple routes to go through to learn the history of Alabast. And it's ruling bureaucratic caste, obsessed with order, perfection, and oblivious the the plight of their indentured population.



Schism ~ On the Eve of the Apocalypse

Set 2,000 years in the future, Schism is set in a nation on the verge of tearing itself apart. One country finds itself, and the entire world, besieged by war and the threat of global annihilation. Schism is going to a gritty WWI sort of period, one part Dieselpunk, one part high-fantasy where the creation of magical engines called AUB-reactors will either liberate the world, or destroy it.



Nephilim ~ A World Unborn

The far distant future, all magic has slowly dissipated from the world, leaving it dry, dead and nearly lifeless. Pockets of living colonies struggle to survive while the world itself gives birth to creatures intent on destroying it. Nephilim is a distant post-apocalyptic(spoiler alert) story, post-apoc magical dieselpunk, meets westerns, meets mad max.
